Services

Wellness care and vaccine protocols customized to your pet's lifestyle, breed, and age. We strongly believe that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" and we recommend procedures based on this philosophy. After completing a yearly or semi-annual comprehensive physical examination, we will evaluate your pet’s needs and custom design a preventive health care plan and vaccination schedule for your pet. We encourage safe and educated use of vaccines and annual testing for intestinal parasites and heartworm disease. We also recommend annual blood screening for all pets, especially those over 7 years of age, in order to detect disease early and prevent more serious problems. Remember, an annual test for your pet is an equivalent of you being tested only once every 5-7 years!

Comprehensive physical examination - Whether your pet is coming in for routine vaccinations, surgery, dental cleaning or an illness, they will receive a full physical exam with each visit. Making sure nothing is missed is critical for your pet's long-term health outlook and it helps us maintain our high standards of care.

Internal medicine - We diagnose and treat thyroid gland and adrenal gland disorders, diabetes and a range of respiratory, gastrointestinal,  musculoskeletal, neurological and urogenital disorders

Dermatology - Allergies are the number one skin condition we see, but we treat autoimmune skin disorders, parasitic, fungal, bacterial, yeast, hair loss problems and skin tumors

Surgery – routine, soft tissue, oral and orthopedic. We understand your concerns about putting your pet through surgery, no matter how routine, and that is why we use no short-cuts with our protocols. We include pre-operative blood work and IV catheters with all procedures.

Advanced anesthesia protocols –  After a thorough pre-anesthetic evaluation, we will create an individualized anesthetic plan for your pet. A member of our veterinary team will be assigned an exclusive task of monitoring your pet during the procedure and to provide post-operative nursing care and TLC. Our advanced monitoring equipment provides real-time monitoring of temperature, respiration rate, and ecg, as well as blood pressure, pulse oximetry and capnography.

Hospitalization - We have designed our facility for the maximum comfort of our hospitalized patients. All the cages are located in the middle of our treatment area, always in full view of our staff. There is also an isolation room in the back with a separate ventilation system for infectious cases.

Dentistry – We provide an extensive dental care program, including cleaning, periodontal therapy, and treatment of damaged teeth. Proper preventive dental care can add 3-5 years to your pet’s life!

Complete in-house laboratory services - Our high-tech in-house laboratory equipment provides quick, reliable results within minutes. For more involved testing, we utilize full service outside veterinary laboratories. They offer an even wider variety of tests and provide comprehensive, accurate and timely diagnostic data for every aspect of your pet's health.

Digital radiography – Our on-site digital x-ray equipment aids in the diagnosis of many disorders. This latest digital technology produces superior quality and more detailed images in seconds, which means convenience and lower cost to you compared to older film-based systems. To provide optimum care, we have access for our x-rays to be reviewed by a Board-Certified Veterinary Radiologist within an hour, if needed.
